This past Sunday was Livvy's baby blessing.  Livvy was blessed in the blessing dress I wore when I was a baby.  My Grandma Cleah made it for me and now I have passed it down to Livvy. Matt gave the best blessing I have ever heard.  It was so sweet and heartfelt.  Matt had been praying and thinking about what to bless her with for awhile and from what I heard on Sunday it seems like he got his answer.  I had so many people come up to me after church saying what a great job he did.  It was also fun having so many of our friends and family there to share such a memorable event with us.

Last Thursday I flew down to Boise because my amazing aunt, Connie, and wonderful 

cousin, Chelsey, threw me a family baby shower.  They really know how to throw a party.  My aunt made these darling party favors with a TCBY gift card.  We had good food, fun games, and great company.  Everything was perfect.  It was also fun to have everyone meet Livvy for the first time and I'm not gonna lie, getting more presents was fun too.  Thank you again Connie and Chelsey!

Livvy Skye Hansen is here!!!!

Livvy Skye Hansen was born at 2:40 on Tuesday morning (March 10).  She weighed in at

6 lbs 12 oz and was 20 inches long.  She is such a cute baby but of course Matt and I are bias.  She hardly ever cries but we know that won't last long.  We just had to say that in this entry so that when we update our blog in a couple weeks and we have nothing but crying pictures posted we can all have a good laugh about it.  We are so happy to have her here happy and healthy.  Thanks everyone for your love, prayers, and support throughout her delivery.

Last weekend my wonderful sisters-in-law and mother-in-law threw me a super fun baby shower.  I had such a good time and got so many fun gifts.  They did a diaper raffle which was great because we ended up with probably over 1,000 diapers to get us started.  I'm told though, that 1,000 diapers will only last about 2 months.:)  Tara, Sarah, and Leslie did so much work to make it a fun celebration for me and I really appreciate it.  Thank you so much you guys!

Yesterday Matt's parents took us to Antelope Island to take our farewell belly pictures.  For those of you who haven't heard I am going to be induced tomorrow (March 2) so we had to act fast if we wanted to get this photo shoot in.  It was such a beautiful day...freezing cold, but beautiful.  The pictures turned out great!  We wanted to post more picture of our photo shoot but the files are so big that we could only post a couple.  

Las Vegas Road Trip

Okay, don't make fun of us but Matt and I have never been on a road trip together since we've been married.  I guess we're just blessed with the 30,000 feet above the ground sort of lifestyle and never felt the need to take a road trip (did that sound snobby enough:)).  Anyway, so this past weekend we packed up the car with goodies, games, and good music and headed down to Las Vegas for the weekend to visit Matt's sister,  brother-in-law, and their adorable baby Mara.  We had such a good time with them!  We went to Hoover Dam while we were there which was very interesting to see.  We also went out to eat at a great pizza place called BJ's.  You have to go there if you are ever in Las Vegas.  We had a great weekend and a great road trip.  So much fun!

29 weeks

     33 weeks

Since I only have about 6 weeks left (can you believe it!) until baby girl Hansen gets here I thought I should post some more belly pictures.  I have a feeling I am going to get VERY big these last few weeks.  In the last couple of days I have noticed my belly has gotten a lot bigger...as well as a few other areas too.
