We had a great time in Utah this Christmas! It was so much fun to be with family and friends! I'm always amazed how fast it all goes by. We were in Utah for 10 days but it felt more like 10 minutes before we were back on the plane flying home. We squeezed in a lot of fun in those 10 minutes though! Baking, sewing, movies, games, restaurants, Parson's donuts, chatting, basketball, temple sealing, laughing, etc! The down side to the trip was that Livvy got sick a couple days before Christmas so she wasn't feeling so great for most of the trip. So the actual day of Christmas went a little something like this...with a positive, magical twist!
It started out with tears...tears of joy of course
Livvy was so thankful for her presents she wouldn't stop praising us

Overwhelmed with Christmas spirit, she laid down to contemplate the true reason for the season
Though the photos of our lovely little Livvy may not show it, we really did have a great Christmas with her. We are so lucky to have her! Even being under the weather she truly made our Christmas more special and magical!

hahaha. She's related to your Uncle Gary for sure!! If you just look at those pictures closely you'll see that neither Bigma or Gramma were there, no wonder she's so sad. Ü

That is sad that Livvy was sick for part of the trip but I'm really glad that you were able to fit so much fun into such a short amount of time. :> Also, I LOVE the new picture you have as your blog header too. :>
Your new blog picture is so cute! I felt so bad for the poor livs. She was such a trooper through it all. She is the cutest! I love her little personality and how much talking she is doing! What a sweetie!!! Kisses from Kansas! And I agree, your writing is so funny!
It is obvious that you have taught Livvy how to contemplate the "reason for the season" and it is even more obvious that, as Dyan stated, she is related to her Great Uncle Gary (in fact, when I first saw the pics, I had to question is it Gary or is that Livvy?)
The pics definitely show that Christmas is Livvy's favorite holiday...
No matter what - she will always be such a gift to have around.
