HAWAII

Matt and I decided to go to Hawaii this past week to celebrate Matt being done with a wicked hard semester (by the way, he did a great job - all A's and B's).  While we were there we went to the Polynesian Cultural Center and did some snorkeling at Hanauma Bay.  It was so beautiful there!!!  We also went to Waikiki beach and looked through the shops at the International Market.  One thing we forgot before going over there was how expensive everything is.  Milk was $10.29 a gallon and cereal was $7.50 a box.  Hawaii is a great place to go on vacation to, but I don't think I would ever want to live there.  We had a great time and were so glad we were able to go.  And of course, the day we came home it was a snowing like crazy.

Traveling a bit

Having fun at Disneyland

Mall of America

Matt and I had the opportunity to go to a few fun places in the past couple weeks.  I had a Minneapolis overnight a few weeks ago so Matt came with me and we went to the Mall of America.  If you ever get a chance to go to Minneapolis the Mall of America is definitely worth going to.  It has 520 stores!!!  Talk about a shopping marathon! 520 stores means, if you spent just 10 minutes in each store it would take you more than 86 hours to get through the entire mall!  Which is exactly what Matt and I did. J/K
We also went to Disneyland last week!  Always a fun place to go, especially during the holidays.  It was all decorated for Halloween and last year we went around Christmas time and it was totally decked out for Christmas.  For some reason it gives it an extra dose of "magic" with all those decorations.
After Disneyland we flew up to Idaho Falls for the weekend because my sister Kynda was blessing her new baby Davis.  We had a great time hanging out with my family, playing games and eating mint brownies (always a Harris favorite).

IT'S A GIRL

We found out today that we are having an "awesome baby girl" as the ultrasound tech put it.  It feels more real now that we know what it is.  After the doctor appointment we went over to Target and bought a couple baby girl outfits.  So much fun to shop for baby stuff now!!!  We are both really excited...and really scared to raise a girl...too high maintenance.

My ever growing belly

Matt took some pictures of me a couple days ago to show off my 18 week belly.  It is weird to think that I am almost half way done with my pregnancy and it doesn't even feel real yet.  At least I don't feel quite as sick anymore.  Yay!  I'm glad to be over that part.  On October 20th we find out what we are having.  Matt's hoping for another puppy like Jada.  I think he is going to be surprised.  Anyone care to venture their guess on boy or girl?

SURPRISE!!!

Matt and I found out a few weeks ago that we will be expecting a little bundle in March! March 11, 2009 to be exact, which Matt is so excited about because his favorite band is 311 and the baby's due date is 311. It is SO meant to be!!! It came as a surprise to us, but we are super excited and feel very blessed!
