Our happy baby is back!

Always playing together

I promise she won't eat you

After nap hair-do

Livvy has been teething the last couple weeks and hasn't been quite as happy and smiley as she usually is. It terrified us to our very souls that this was going to be a permanent change. But thankful now that the pain of cutting teeth is over she is back to her old joyful self.

Babies seeing babies at the ZOO

We went to the zoo on Saturday with Matt's family.  It was a beautiful day!  I think the last time I went to the zoo was when I was in high school.  So it was high time to go again.  It must have been a cold winter at Hoogle Zoo because there were tons of baby animals.  A baby elephant, baby giraffe, 3 baby tiger cubs, and a baby monkey!  It was so fun to see all those cute babies!  Livvy could have cared less about the animals but she did enjoy being out in the fresh air and sunshine and hangin' with some of her favorite people!

With Mara on her sealing day at the Las Vegas temple

Havin' fun at Liz and Josh's house

Jada LOVES being next to Livvy

She looks pretty tough in her camo gear and pink chair huh?

Check out that 4th of July smile

   Rollin' over

This summer has gone by so fast, I didn't even realize it has been almost 2 months since our last post.  It has been such a fun summer having a little baby to share it all with.  It's so fun when "firsts" come around.  Livvy's 1st 4th of July, 1st camping trip, 1st trip to Vegas, etc.  Here is a little summer update for y'all.  These pictures are kind of all over the place but you get the idea of our fun summer.

Philly Cheese and Apple Pie

Amish Country was so beautiful

Gettysburg

Livvy did so well being packed around all day

Gotta have a philly cheese steak in Philly

Liberty Bell

I guess you could say it's become kind of a tradition that when Matt finishes a semester we celebrate with a little play time.  This past week we went to Philadelphia and had such a great time.  We were a little nervous to see how Livvy would do with the flight and all the running around we tend to do on trips, but she did FANTASTIC.  She is a natural born traveler.  We can't wait to do more traveling with her.

Highlights of the trip were: Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Ben Franklin's printing office, the drive from Philly to Lancaster was beautiful, Amish country (my absolute favorite part of the whole trip - they are such wonderful people), homemade pretzels and apple pie (the best we've ever tasted) and Gettysburg.

This past Sunday was Livvy's baby blessing.  Livvy was blessed in the blessing dress I wore when I was a baby.  My Grandma Cleah made it for me and now I have passed it down to Livvy. Matt gave the best blessing I have ever heard.  It was so sweet and heartfelt.  Matt had been praying and thinking about what to bless her with for awhile and from what I heard on Sunday it seems like he got his answer.  I had so many people come up to me after church saying what a great job he did.  It was also fun having so many of our friends and family there to share such a memorable event with us.

Boise Baby Shower

   Beautiful Decorations

Gotta love getting presents

  Four Generations

Last Thursday I flew down to Boise because my amazing aunt, Connie, and wonderful
cousin, Chelsey, threw me a family baby shower.  They really know how to throw a party.  My aunt made these darling party favors with a TCBY gift card.  We had good food, fun games, and great company.  Everything was perfect.  It was also fun to have everyone meet Livvy for the first time and I'm not gonna lie, getting more presents was fun too.  Thank you again Connie and Chelsey!
